Green Granger Initiative
Rooted in nature-inspired experiences, our environment encourages children to explore, observe, and ask questions about the world around them. Through both indoor and outdoor learning, children engage in purposeful play and enquiry, making learning a natural part of everyday life.
Since 2020, The Grange’s Green Granger initiative has introduced children to age-appropriate, hands-on experiences in caring for the environment.
Our outdoor spaces are designed to support this learning, including our Eco-Garden, Urban Farming areas, and the newly introduced Agroforest Farm. Here, children engage in play- and inquiry-based experiences, observing how nature grows, changes, and thrives.
Through these everyday moments, children build curiosity, care, and a sense of responsibility — forming the foundations of internationally minded, life-ready learners.
Grow with The Grange
Every student’s journey, every tree’s beginning. “Grow With The Grange” is part of The Grange’s Green Granger Initiative.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we partner with Green Steps in an initiative where a tree is planted and named after every child in our school.
In age-appropriate ways, they understand why trees are important — learning how they support the health of our planet and the wellbeing of communities. These experiences help children develop early awareness, empathy, and a sense of responsibility.

Eco-Garden & Food Forest
Our Eco-Garden features a thoughtfully curated “food forest”, designed to mirror a natural ecosystem and spark children’s curiosity about the living world. Through hands-on, inquiry-based experiences, children explore a variety of plants, fruits, and vegetables, learning to observe, identify, and understand how nature grows and changes.
